For many years one of my biggest niches in the mortgage industry was helping people who did not qualify for a home loan improve their credit standing in order to become approve-able. It took me some years and a lot of studying to get to the point that I could look at a credit report, break it down and come up with an action plan that will change the persons financial future.
I liked this niche because I not only assisted my clients in getting a home loan but I also educated them about what went into a credit score, how to achieve a high credit score and how to maintain it long term. I became sort of a financial coach to my clients. As you could probably tell, I was not your run of the mill “mortgage guy”. (at least I liked to think so) I took pride in what I did and loved teaching.
I then parlayed that passion for educating and became an continuing education provider for licensed real estate in my area. I began teaching courses to real estate agents on the very same subject, improving your credit report and scores! This got me some notoriety in my area as the “credit repair mortgage guy”. I became a resource for those Realtors that had a client that could not get financing. They would come my way and I would get them into a position to be able to get a home loan. The Realtor loved me, the client loved me and everything was fine.
So fine in fact that I was interviewed in my local newspaper.
But enough about me. What I am trying to share with you is a great resource that I have been using for years in order to do this successfully.
I am now sharing one of my “secrets of success” with those of you that are interested in Do-it-yourself credit repair.

Hey there “credit repair mortgage guy”! I love it!
I think this will provide a great asset and there are so very many Do It Yourself folks out there. This makes a ton of sense…
Do you recommend it for ‘others’ perhaps for educational or preventive measures?
