Are You Leveraging Your Client Testimonials?

Business

Client testimonials are a great way to share your successes with new or potentially new clients or business partners. This does not mean that you are full of yourself or conceited. It is just a very simple way to show someone that there are people out there that are happy with your services and are willing to endorse you to others. These testimonials can add much needed confidence in your abilities to someone that may be “on the fence”.

Make it a habit of asking for these testimonials from your clients and keep a binder filled with these on hand or easily accessible to your clients. (Hint: maybe in the waiting room mixed in with the reading material)

It is not always easy to acquire these so make sure you include it as part of your “process”. This is a great way to get the testimonial without pressuring the client. I added it to my closing process, there are many times when clients are waiting for documents or something and what better time for a client to write an endorsement than when they are about to close on a transaction that you helped them with. PERFECT TIMING!

You will soon collect an array of testimonials that will cover various types of clients and it will be easier for the reader to find one that they connect with. This can make the difference between someone sitting in front of you full of skepticism and someone that is open to really hearing what it is that you have to say.

Try it and you will be surprised at the responses.

Make it a Great Day!

    Jose,

This is real good advice and the suggestion to ask for the testimonial as part of the closing process makes perfect sense.
