A Little Bit About Me…
The Story
I would like to begin what I call "The Story" when I started my business life, the moment I became self-employed. I started my journey into self-employment in the mortgage industry, you know finding clients, doing loans, etc. etc. After a few years I felt like I had a greater responsibility to my clients than just offering a "good deal" I got bored with the day to day grind, make calls, network, and hand out business cards. It felt like me and everyone around me were doing the same thing nobody was looking for anything more, they were happy with the status quo.
This is when I went out and started to research and look for a higher education in business and the mortgage industry. I found ways to connect with some of the most successful people in my industry. I studied, shared and grew with them for the next few years. At the same time I was creating a deeper relationship with my clients and business partners.
The Mortgage Crisis…
Like many in the Real Estate & Mortgage industry at the time, the mortgage crisis affected me financially. I was running a branch at the time and had to end up making the very difficult decision to close down. This decision was made more difficult by the fact that after many years in the business, I was doing very well, felt comfortable in my own skin and had established myself as an expert in my niche in my area (South Florida).
The Aftermath…
I took this opportunity to take a step back and really get in touch with what I wanted out of life. I took a good long look around and saw many aspects of my life that I wanted to improve and/or change. Could the mortgage meltdown really be the opportunity that I was looking for? Talking about silver lining!
This hiatus gave me a chance to see things from a new perspective. It allowed me to take stock of what I did right, wrong and most importantly what I did that brought happiness into my life.
What life is really about…
I am continuously looking for ways to improve myself and what I do and have a real passion for sharing that energy with others.
I noticed that the times I felt the happiest and created the best relationships when I was part of assisting people improve their lives, financially or otherwise. It just makes me happy to see people reach a goal or succeed at something they really wanted.

This blog gives me the opportunity to share with you what I have been doing for years. Through education, and clear communication, I am looking to become a small piece of helping you improving your life.
So expect to see information on subjects that I know very well like credit management, mortgages, various business subjects and overall financial health and stability. Also expect to see some information on a variety of subjects that I believe to be useful in one form or another. I have varying interests which should make for some interesting and fun communications between us.
